The Trustees and the Volunteers aim to
Entertain and Educate about our Amazing World we all call home.
“We urgently need education/pilgrim centres to help people understand the range of measures needed to combat human induced climate change.”
Rev Richard Paten MA, C.Eng, MICE, Freeman of the City of Peterborough
They champion the work of the charity and volunteers and provide them with the support they need to make a bigger difference.
They also champion the work of the charity, have diverse background, and vary in age and experience.
Our Team Days or ‘CSR Days’ started in 2004 – when Perkins Engines and Caterpillar held their first one.
Rev Paten set up the charity in 1985 – Since then volunteers with the help of many companies, groups and individuals have transformed the derelict coal yard into an inner-city green space.
Remembering the ‘Railworld Wildlife Haven’ in your will. We have never had any core funding and the Volunteers rely on their efforts to raise funds. Maybe you would like to help?

“An amazing combination of nature and technology! We used the Nene Valley Railway to get here, and it was an amazing place.”
