LOCAL RAILWAY HISTORY

Peterborough has a fabulous 'Local Railway History'. The railways first came to Peterborough in 1845 via Northampton. This was a spur off the line from London, Euston to Birmingham Railway. You would have arrived at Peterborough via Oundle and Wansford - Part of the 'Nene Valley Railway' we have today!
